Ignacio Botella

President & Chief Executive Officer (2022)

Ignacio joined Lane as President and CEO in May 2022. Prior to this role, he managed American operations for Webuild since February 2018 when he assumed the role of Deputy General Manager Global Operations & Executive Director Americas. In that role, he worked closely with Lane’s executive team supporting the company to deliver results with clients and partners in the U.S. Ignacio’s international career began in Ferrovial where he covered roles with growing responsibilities, from Italy's Country Manager (from 2006 to 2008) to Vice President of the Polish subsidiary, Budimex (until 2014). From 2014 to 2018, he was Managing Director of OHL Construcción, an international company specializing in large-scale complex infrastructure, significantly present in the Americas.

Paul Cyril

Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer (2021)

As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Paul oversees Lane’s financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances. A 25+ year financial executive, Paul’s proven leadership abilities along with a strong focus on long-term planning and financial strategy drives improved compliance and enhances the financial strength of the organization. Prior to joining Lane, Paul spent 15 years of his career working for AECOM. He has a bachelor’s degree in Political Economy from UC Berkeley and holds an MBA degree from the University of Southern California.

Dave Rankin

Executive Vice President – Chief Operating Officer Construction (1990)

Dave Rankin’s entire career at Lane has been in operations and has yielded many successful projects, resulting in a number of promotions and culminating in his current position as Chief Operating Officer where he is responsible for all operations throughout the United States. Before beginning his career with Lane in 1990, Dave served seven years with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the Wilmington, N.C. district where he was responsible for administering construction contracts at Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point near Southport, N.C. Dave is a Licensed Professional Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. In 1999, he was the recipient of the James William and Helen Smith Flanders Award from Lane in recognition of outstanding service and significant contributions to the strength and character of the company.

Seth Firmender

Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Assistant Secretary (2012)

Seth has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry. As Vice President, General Counsel & Assistant Secretary, he oversees Lane’s legal needs. Prior to joining Lane, Seth practiced construction law nationally and was general counsel of a leading western heavy highway company. Seth’s legal experience is broad, including trial work, claims, banking and finance, legal and governance, regulatory and compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate.

Leonor Haefner

VICE PRESIDENT – HUMAN RESOURCES AND DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION (2012)

Leonor started with Lane in 2012 in the Human Resources department. During her tenure, she has led and managed benefits, compensation, and HRIS for the organization as well as oversaw employees’ HR needs on the Operations side of the business. Upon becoming Vice President in 2022, Leonor is responsible for all HR functions including staffing and recruiting, benefits, compensation, HRIS, employee relations, Learning and Development, and DE&I.
